Dutch progressive metal pioneers Textures have returned from a seven-year hiatus, and will release their latest album, Genotype via Kscope on January 23. The band, a huge influence on the likes of TesseracT and Periphery, credit increased parental responsibilities, being “surpassed” by the acts they paved the way for and “not having enough things to say musically and artistically,” for their 2018 split.
