Strike call The RMT announced that it had called a 48-hour strike on the Docklands Light Railway from 3 November in a dispute with concession-holder AmeyKeolis over the use of agency staff and alleged breaches of working agreements. The union’s general secretary Mick Cash claimed the staff were ‘furious’, but said the RMT remained willing to negotiate.

Station plan London Underground has published plans to enlarge and modernise Camden Town station, which is sometimes so busy that access has to be restricted. Camden Town on the Northern Line is one of the busiest interchanges on the Underground network.
