Everton’s nod to dock and railway heritage
OLD railway tracks used to transport coal, capstans and other railway-related dock equipment are among the 400 heritage assets which have been recorded and tagged and will be used within the public realm works at Bramley-Moore Dock, Liverpool, where Premiership team Everton is having a new 52,000-seater stadium built. A Grade II-listed Hydraulic Tower and Engine Room, built in 1883, will be restored to its former glory, brick by brick.
