Rider Magazine  |  December 2017
Small bikes rule! In the December issue of Rider we devote a special section to little-big bikes like the Suzuki VanVan, Yamaha TW200, Honda CRF250L Rally and Suzuki GSX250R sportbike just for fun, and we had a lot of it on these fun and practical machines. Returning to larger long-distance machines for our cover story, Harley’s all new Heritage Softail 114 goes the distance in style and comfort. The Motor Company’s new 2018 Touring family also gets a look in Kickstarts this month, and we had a blast testing KTM’s super-dirty 690 Enduro R dual-sport. Great touring stories include a ride Back Home in Indiana by our Managing Editor, and our Favorite Ride proves there’s much more to West Texas than sagebrush and the I10. The December issue just wouldn’t be the same without a giant Holiday Gift Guide to give you some ideas for your favorite rider, and Tips, Trick & Answers has great stories on Packing for a Trip, a long-term review of the Honda Africa Twin and tips from our skills editor Eric Trow. Finally there are Gearlab reviews galore, creative commentary from our consistently classy contributors and whole bunch of great photos between the words! With captions! Enjoy the issue….
