Saltwater Boat Angling  |  April/May 2023
The April/May issue of Saltwater Boat Angling has a wide ranging and exciting set of features, first up we took a trip out with the McKell family on their boat Squidward, who base themselves in Lymington, we report on how some of the UK finest match anglers fared in the Eastbourne species challenge and the editor went to Aland in the Baltic to sample more excellent sea trout fishing.
We have features on live-baiting, turbot and Jim Whippy goes to Teneriffe to catch bonito. There is a preview of the 2023 Sea Angling Classic (in which we’re entering a team) and a review of Boat Life which took place in February. Finally, we review the new Rodman 690 and take a look at buying engines. This is alongside all the usual charter boat and catch reports, Tackle Talk and our Analysis which this month looks at spurdog and why DEFRA is allowing commercial exploitation to resume.
