Sporting Gun Magazine February2024 Back Issue

February is rarely the most inspiring month in the shooting calendar. The game season draws to a close, and the weather is invariably horrible. However, there's still plenty to do in the realm of pest control as we approach lambing season.

The show season kicks off once again with the British Shooting Show. Now is the time to scrape together a few coppers and head off to Birmingham. It's the perfect opportunity to replace all those odds and ends that were either lost or worn out over the winter. I'll be there, as always, so if you spot a tall, grey-haired guy who looks mildly hungover, please take a moment to say hello.

In this issue we've covered a wide array of shooting topics, ranging from our usual selection of shotgun tips and reviews to extensive coverage of the fine art of wildfowling. There's plenty of gundog content, plus all the essentials of rifle shooting.

If you're a shotgun enthusiast, I highly recommend reading the first part of our review on Clay Hunt VR and Real Stock Pro, a system that brings top-quality training into the home with unlimited ammo, superb ballistics, and a fully immersive virtual environment.
