DOUBLE TON CONVINCES COOK, HE CAN KEEP GOING
Alastair Cook has revealed he is set to continue playing for England next summer after fighting back to form in this Ashes series. Cook hit an epic unbeaten two hundred forty four in Melbourne last week and was dismissed lbw for thirty nine his second-highest score of the series – on the first day of the final Ashes Test in Sydney. But on a day that saw England slip to 233-5 after the late dismissals of captain Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow, Cook at least offered some positive news by indicating he will play next summer’s seven Tests against Pakistan and India.
