The Searcher  |  July 2021
What’s new in this issue?
Our cover feature this month is an amazing collection of finds made in a short period by Nick Pane. In an article entitled ‘My Purple Patch’ Nick describes the events as they unfolded in an extraordinary bout of success. Other highlights are some amazing finds from the Thames foreshore, Jim Cullen’s two gold finds and an unusual Roman brooch and Ted Fletcher researches the symbolism behind the wild boar. Whilst so many productive fields go under crop Daniel Spencer has looked at some Searcher Deep Pasture Settings for the Equinox, Orx and Simplex. Of course there’s so much more to inform and inspire between the covers.
