When filmmaker Jonas Poher Rasmussen was a teenager, he spotted a young Afghan lad on his train. “He had a really nice sense of fashion. And I come from this small, rural village in Denmark – and not a lot of people had a good sense of fashion! I thought, ‘He looks really cool. I want to get to know him.’ But I didn’t until 25 years later, which is kind of wild.”
