Teamwork: Dusty and Tinolla Rogers with the seamstresses of The Sijwa Project
On 27 March 2020, as the entire world was facing the advancing pandemic, and before we knew to what degree these changes would impact us, David Cartwright, CEO of ATI Holidays, was checking in passengers for a flight out of Windhoek that he wasn’t sure would take off. International borders were closing and the airport was shut. But, working with the then British High Commissioner Kate Airey, her deputy Charlotte Fenton and Westair Aviation, David helped to get over 50 British citizens out of Namibia and back home to the UK.
