Dear Zach
A MOTHER OF TWO BOYS COMMENDS HER YOUNGEST FOR THE ROLE HE PLAYS IN THE LIFE OF HIS BROTHER.
By Kimberlee Rutan McCAFFERTY
Dear Zach,
Iwatch you at our kitchen table as Justin emits yet another string of loud vocals, and I see you take a breath and not say anything. I know his noises bother you sometimes, and I see your struggle with speaking up or staying silent, as you choose the latter. You’ve told me you want to be more patient with your brother, and I see you wage that battle, and win.
For that, and about a thousand other reasons, your dad and I are so proud of you.
