On the grid, George Russell, Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris promise to keep the home fires burning by starting in a glorious one-two-three – Britain’s first since 1968 – as anticipation simmers to a colourful frenzy. Yes, even for the hardened cynic, there’s nothing quite like Silverstone on British Grand Prix Sunday.
