Ogier retires just one title short of all-time record
Eighth WRC title for Toyota’s Ogier
Sébastien Ogier secured an emotional eighth World Rally Championship title with victory on the Monza Rally. His Toyota team-mate Elfyn Evans pushed for victory in the Italian event, but two stalls during the late stages meant the Welshman had to settle for second place. Ogier is now to retire from full-time competition, aged 37.
