MINI ACEMAN E
Can this new electric crossover offer more than just cheeky playfulness?
TESTER’S NOTE
I wouldn’t say the Aceman feels small on the road, but there’s a certain stubbiness about its bubbled bonnet that makes it at least moderately compact and threadable.
MS
The third instalment in Mini’s big new-product push, the Aceman, is positioned as a car that perfectly splits the difference between the Cooper hatchback and the Countryman SUV. Unlike those two, it’s electric-only, which might rule it off some shopping lists. For those on whose it remains, it might initially seem like quite a lot of car for the money – although the reality of that proposition certainly needs close inspection.
