The best-quality bread is made at a bakery with few ingredients and no preservatives. Bread should last 5-7 days so if you are buying sliced white that lasts a month, think about what's keeping it fresh for so long. Storing your bread in a wooden bread bin and/or in a sealed cotton or paper bag will give it the longest life.
