In 2016, I took on my first big adventure – hiking over 1,000km across the length of Israel. I’d never done anything like it before, and took on the challenge in the hope that it would help change my life (and it certainly did!). I’d never spent any real time in wilderness, and I began to develop a strong connection to nature – but what I saw upset me. Nature being destroyed by factories, plastic litter, even in remote locations, and wildlife struggling to survive.
