Boys Ride Too

Feb / Mar 2024 Welcome to Issue 18. We hope you are all surviving the wintery weather and all the challenges it can bring when you spend time with horses. Just think, only a couple of weeks until half term, and it all gets a little easier after that. We are so pleased to be introducing you to THREE new equestrian activities which we haven’t covered before. Equestrian Vaulting, a growing sport which has been described as gymnastics on a horse; Adventure Racing from all the way over in New Zealand, and Drag Hunting, a traditional equestrian activity where riders and horses follow hounds who have been trained to track humans! We have some great reader contributions this time - a young businessman, tips from a showjumping masterclass and lots of interesting chat from your ponies on competition days. Don’t forget, we love to hear from you so make sure you stay in touch!
