Argyll College UHI is running a ‘Field to Fork’ competition for all Argyll and Arran schools to encourage senior phase students to explore local horticulture, aquaculture, agriculture and hospitality industries.
The competition invites teams of up to four students to work with a local business (either food producer, manufacturer, processor, or restaurant) to produce a menu using local Argyll produce for a set budget.
From the submitted menus, three finalists will be invited to come to Oban Learning Centre on Tuesday November 1 to cook their menus, to be judged by the college’s hospitality tutors along with a local guest chef.
