SEVEN games into the football season, Red Star 2004s are unbeaten.
On top of earlier results, an excellent away win against Dumbarton Riverside and a well-earned draw away to Rent-on Craigandro sees the youngsters with six wins and a draw out of seven games as they head for the October break.
The hard work and effort at training twice a week is starting to tell with some really good performances throughout the team. In all, 17 players have featured so far in the seven games and all have played a part in a strong defence, hard working midfield and free-scoring forward line. It’s a great start for the boys and girls in their first season as an 11-a-side team and should give them confidence for the remaining 19 league games. After the break, the youngsters have three home games against Singer and Drumchapel United in the league and Albion Rovers in the Community in the Central Region Cup.
