Plans to turn ferry building into a community hub

The existing ferry terminal building at Brodick could become a community hub.

The Arran Economic Group is in talks with Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) over its future use when the new pier facilities are completed next year.

One plan is that it would become a focal point for visitors, highlighting the diverse attractions Arran has to offer, with a community trust formed to take over the running of the new centre, according to the group’s first annual report.
