Peel Ports pledges investment as campaign is launched to keep ferry service at Ardrossan

The owners of Ardrossan harbour have pledged a multimillion-pound investment if the government gives a longterm commitment to keep the Arran ferry at the port.

It came as an official campaign was launched to keep the current ferry route with a show of support from both sides of the crossing.

The newly appointed project director for the redevelopment of Ardrossan harbour, Doug Coleman, of Peel Ports, came to Arran on Monday.
