Big Noise Raploch is bringing its youth orchestra on a residential trip to the Arran from July 24 to 26. The band said the island, affectionately known as Scotland in miniature, felt like the perfect place to go and make a Big Noise this summer.
Big Noise Raploch is one of four Big Noise programmes run by the charity Sistema Scotland. The charity is on a mission to create permanent social change in some of the most deprived communities in Scotland.
It uses participation in Big Noise orchestra programmes to change lives by fostering confidence, discipline, teamwork, pride and aspiration in the young people taking part.
