On Saturday, February 18, there will be a concert in Brodick Hall by a group with a name that is sure to intrigue islanders.
The Brodick Quartet is made up of Ben Norris, Katrina Lee, Liam Brolly and Alice Allen.
The Brodick Quartet consists of four of Scotland’s finest young string players, and they chose their name because, though they come from various places in Scotland (and one of them from Yorkshire), they all agreed that Arran is a very special place for all of them. They have variously spent time here on family holidays, or on hillwalking and geology trips, and acquired such a special love for the island that they chose the name Brodick Quartet for their joint musical enterprise.
