FUNDING of between £3,000 and £10,000 will help heritage groups mark the centenary of the Great War.
Brendan O’Hara MP for Argyll and Bute has urged communities to apply for the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) money after a recent Westminster event. Mr O’Hara said: ‘The centenary of the First World War is a chance to uncover its stories and explore what it means to us today.’
Since April 2010, HLF has awarded over £70million to more than 1,300 projects, large and small, that will mark the centenary of the First World War.
