THIEVES USING GOOGLE TO SPY ON YOUR CARS
New warnings from theft experts are prompting classic owners to cover up their cars, now that reports have emerged indicating that tech-savvy crooks are using Google to fi nd them. International Association of Auto Theft Investigators’ (IAATI) communications director, Dr Ken German, says: ‘Just because you can’t see it from the road doesn’t mean to say that the thieves can’t see it in the back garden. ‘Arrests have been made recently and the question was asked how they knew the vehicles were there. And the answer was Google Earth.
