In the latest Classic Pop, cover star Gary Numan talks to us about the climate change message behind his powerful new concept album, Intruder.

Gary Kemp tells us about returning to his solo career after a 25-year gap with a superb new studio LP and we also hear from Marti Pellow who is also going it alone with an ambitious stream-of-consciousness double album, Stargazer.

We give Stephen Duffy a memory jogger to revisit his experimental Dr Calculus guise and Moby reveals all about why he’s giving his biggest hits a classical makeover.

Dexys Midnight Runners’ Searching For The Young Soul Rebels is our classic album and we give Bananarama’s Pop Life LP some much-needed love.

Elsewhere, we take a look at the complete back catalogue of Kate Bush in our Album By Album feature and serve up unseen photos of the pop legends who used to hang out at London’s exclusive Limelight Club. Meanwhile, The Selecter tell us about their genesis story and we also reveal our Top 20 countdown of favourite side projects.

In our expanded reviews section we have new releases including Gary Numan, Bryan Ferry, Paul Weller and New Order while our bumper reissues coverage features Pet Shop Boys, Yello, Marc Almond, The Other Two, David Bowie, Howard Jones, Toyah and much more.
