TP-Link Archer GE400
Dual disappointment
ROUTER ❘ £180 from Scan www.snipca.com/57552
TP-Link’s latest Wi-Fi 7 router is a dual-band gaming model, designed to slip into the brand’s extensive range between the budget Archer BE3600 (reviewed in Issue 695, £69.98 from www.snipca.com/52252) and our Buy It! recommended Archer BE550 (Issue 718, www.snipca.com/55981). Not only does it have the angular design, large vents and six antennas you might expect from a high-performance gaming router, but it also has the features to match, giving you more control over your network than the average Wi-Fi router. It even has a customisable RGB lighting strip.
In our tests the GE400 didn’t perform any better than the cheaper BE3600
