1 Taste, taste, taste
Even though it sounds obvious, so many cooks don’t do it. Yet it’s the only way to learn how adding seasoning and other ingredients can transform a dish. Tasting as you go lets you make minor adjustments and also means you can make the dish your own. Add extra chilli if you like things hot or more herbs if you like a fresh zing.
