Pop and jazz chanteuse Amanda Easton left her day job when she accidentally stumbled into a love affair with dance music. The first half of her “postmodern discotheque experience” (her words) consists of five original electronic pop/trip-hop tunes, while the second features remixes with each segueing into the next – in true disco dance floor fashion. Think Donna Summer meets Massive Attack genre-definers. The title track’s video was filmed at iconic Sydney locale Slide which, in light of Sydney’s nightlife dying due to totalitarian lockout and licensing laws, is something we should all be thankful for.
