DNA: As a social media influencer, you open yourself to public scrutiny – what are some of the weird and wonderful responses you’ve had?
James: The nice part of being on social media is that you connect with people from all over the world. When I visit a new country or city, there’s always a new friend I’ve made via Instagram or Facebook who I get to meet, hang out with or collaborate on a project with. The downside is, yeah, some people like to hate or make really random requests. When people hate I just think, “Guys, it’s Instagram!” There’s far more important stuff going on. And, yeah, when people ask me to send them my used jockstraps I block them. Immediately.
What assumptions do people generally make about you, based on your looks and physique?
