WORTH THE WAIT: Yamaha R9
They say that good comes things come to those that wait, and after 10 years of wondering when Yamaha would finally give in and slot its much-loved CP3 motor into a pukka sportsbike chassis, that moment has finally arrived. The question is, will it be enough to reignite a whole new generation of sportsbike riders? Yamaha certainly hopes so.
