Christmas and knitting are traditionally seen as something of a comedy act by the world at large. From the Christmas sweater moment in Bridget Jones’s Diary to the inevitable cartoon Christmas cards of hapless men in ill fi tting sweaters, knitting definitely receives a bad press as December approaches. But I don’t care, it won’t put me off because what non-knitters don’t understand is the calming effect it has while all around you the madness gathers momentum. What I have learnt from experience, however, is not to embark upon a complicated pattern at Christmas. I know my limitations and so I have decided to start a patchwork blanket, which is the perfect excuse to dip into possibly the world’s most delicious stash (courtesy of my job) and have some fun with new stitches and colour. With a stitch bible at the ready, I am rather looking forward to the small scale of each square and trying hard not to think about the sewing together stage.

Particularly good for beginners Reviewed 16 July 2019

Brilliant app

I'm a fan of the paper magazine and this app is just as brilliant.
I didn't have any of the problems described in the other reviews ( I've downloaded 2 numbers so far) this maybe just a different version though.
