DIVISION TWO
LEADERS WATERHEAD extended their winning run to ten games with a 26-12 victory over Oldham neighbours SADDLEWORTH who, despite being in the drop zone, were seeking a fourth successive win.
The Warriors were 12-0 ahead before Rangers opened their account through Billy England, with Matt Whitehead converting.
Saddleworth had the last word when Chris Hough nipped over and improved his own effort, but Waterhead otherwise held sway, despite the sinbinning of Will Dickinson for unsporting conduct.
Callum Murphy, Jenson Hamilton, Harry Thewlis, Dickinson and Mason Young claimed the hosts’ tries and Ciaran Dean (two) and Hamilton landed the goals.
