___________ is the world’s most populous island, as well as being a computer programming language and an occasional nickname for coffee. While ___________ is the majoriy religion here, as in the rest of ___________, the most visited local tourist attraction is the 9th-century Buddhist temple of Borobudur. Partly covered by ash from the many nearby volcanoes, it was abandoned and overgrown until an 1814 excavation sponsored by Sir Stamford Raffles (he gave his name to the great Raffles Hotel, home of the ___________ sling cocktail). The temple takes the shape of a giant mandala, and among the stone carvings is a relief of a musical ensemble playing drums, flutes and other instruments. It’s perhaps the earliest depiction of a performance of ___________, the music style that’s central to the culture of the region.
