New chips, new colours
While Apple didn’t update its entry-level iPad during its March refresh, it did make some changes to its higher-specced sibling, the iPad Air. Now sporting an Apple silicon M4 chip instead of the previous generation’s M3, the iPad Air (2026) promises up to 30% faster CPU performance than its predecessor, and now has 12GB of memory, 50% more than before.
