Apple’s M5 Pro and M5 Max chips finally arrive on Apple’s most powerful laptop
When Apple first launched its MacBook Pro with an M5 chip last October, it did so in a very limited way. Only the 14-inch MacBook Pro actually received the update and even then it only got the standard M5 chip - M5 Pro and M5 Max versions were notable by their absence, leaving buyers to kit out their new MacBook Pros with either a new stock M5 chip or the older M4 Pro and M4 Max. Now that’s all changed.
