121 Reviews   •  English   •   Hobbies & Crafts (Arts & Crafts)
Christmas seems to come around quicker each year, so let Making Cards provide you with a helping hand for getting all those last minute designs ready! For lovers of stamping Wendy Martin’s festive bunnies on page 8 will be a sure fire hit, as well as Dawn Wheeler’s designs using Whiff of Joy stamps. Using an icy blue colourway is becoming increasingly popular, as Lisa Baker shows with her fabulous designs using die-cuts on page 20.

Many of you organised crafters will have most of your designs finished and have other occasions such as birthdays this time of year. Your free gifts this month are catered for both the festive season but can be adapted for other occasions too.

After the hugely popular Art Deco ladies in the October 2010 issue, Nancy Watt has designed another set of stunning ladies especially for winter. The Guest Designer this month is the fantastic Craftwork Cards, who have provided two sets of papers especially for Making Cards! The first set consists of snowflakes and swirls in pretty pastel shades and the second set includes bright pink and green dots and stripes with some fun oriental inspired toppers!

I'd like to see a bigger variety of papers. Love what you do, but very similar often. Soft florals, cute critters etc, would be lovely. Reviewed 20 February 2020
