BRITAIN'S BEST NAKED MT-10 V EVERY RIVAL
To be considered a super-naked the MT-10 needs to be able to cut the mustard on track. However, in this group of bikes that’s a big ask. For starters the Yamaha already lacks the racy Öhlins suspension and Brembo brakes of some. The only Japanese bike on test comes on Bridgestone S20 tyres as standard, which is decent rubber and perfectly matched for the MT-10. But when you’re chasing lap times the crossplane Yamaha was already starting the race with its shoelaces tied together, compared to the Aprilia, Ducati and Triumph which all came on track-ready Pirelli Supercorsa SPs.
