More 3D-printed goodies from CMK’s sister company, Special Hobby. Special Hobby are better known for their vast catalogue of aviation kits, but they’ve recently been taking advantage of CAD and 3D printing to produce some very nice military accessories. This month’s releases cover a range of modern and World War II subjects. Transport Box with Panzerfausts (ref. 48001) is their first venture into Quarterscale in this range and includes a neatly printed box and five Panzerfaust 60. There is also a little sheet of appropriate decals for the Panzerfausts and box. MG3 Machine Gun Vehicle- Mounted (ref. P35008) is precisely what it says on the box. The blister contains two beautifully printed machine guns suitable for mounting on a range of contemporary NATO vehicles. Panzerfaust 3 Modern Recoilless Anti- Tank Weapon (ref. P35007) brings us bang up to date with a weapon that has been supplied in considerable numbers to the Armed Forces of Ukrainian. It contains the launcher and a selection of rounds, again with a small decal sheet. In a similar vein there is also a Stugna-P Ukrainian Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ref. P35010). The Stugna is a contemporary guided missile made by the Ukrainians and has been used with devastating effect against the Russian aggressor. The missile is usually used against tanks, armoured vehicles and low-flying helicopters. The 3D-printed set contains a complete missile on a tripod and its remote-control panel which is connected to the missile via a long wire so that the launch does not reveal the position of the operator. The detail on all these items is superb and if you want high-quality accessories to dress up your plastic kits, then look no further. Special Hobby kits are also available directly from the manufacturer (www. cmkkits.com) or other good model shops
