Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM | S £1699/$1999

The Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM | S is unique in stretching all the way from a standard 60mm focal length to a super-tele 600mm. This makes it ideal if you need to quickly adapt from long-range shooting to capturing subjects that are relatively close by, without swapping the lens.

From Sigma’s ‘Sports’ line-up, it has robust build quality and an up-market optical design that features three top-grade FLD (‘Fluorite’ Low Dispersion) elements and one SLD (Special Low Dispersion) element. Fluorine coatings are applied to the front and rear elements and the lens is extensively weather-sealed. Handling refinements are similar to those of the Sigma 150-600mm Sports lens on test but image quality isn’t quite as excellent.

The Sigma 60-600mm Sports is amazingly versatile and avoids the risk of missing shots, but it’s a weighty lens at 2700g.
