New Stitches  |  New Stitches 251
This issue will have you tidying up any UFOs to make a start on one of these inspirational designs! The windmill scene is wonderfully depicted in Blackwork which gives the view a sketch-like effect. There are some fun ladybird letters that may well come in very handy and a great chessboard design with fancy patterns in each of the dark squares that can be used for many other ideas too. As for trying a new technique, we feature two that look beautiful but are a delight to stitch. The cutwork ring of roses is a plain buttonhole stitch and the flowers on felt are simple stitches put together in a colourful and clever way. With a pretty folk motif with a hint of gold too, we think this issue is the perfect companion for March!
