2020 was set to be one of 5 Seconds of Summer’s biggest years ever. With a new album scheduled for release in March, the band were preparing for a huge world tour to premiere their new songs, including the singles that had dropped the previous year.
5 Seconds of Summer played at the Fire Fight benefit concert in Sydney to raise money for bushfire relief, also attended by Queen & Adam Lambert and John Farnham amongst others, where 5SOS’ performance was acclaimed as the best of the festival by some Australian critics.
