THE FIRST local history society meeting of 2018 sees the return of Richard Sidgwick who will continue his series of talks on land ownership in Lochaber.
This talk is entitled ’Land Use – Lochaber’s Changing Landscape’. Richard’s lifelong role at the centre of estate management in Lochaber places him in a unique position to share his knowledge and experience. The preservation and recording of past land ownership will be a great resource to local historians in the future. Everyone is welcome to the Ben Nevis Hotel tonight (Thursday January 11) at 8pm.
BUN-SGOIL Ghàidhlig Loch Abar is hosting an open afternoon for Gaelic medium education in Lochaber this Saturday (January 13) 1-3pm.
