Injured Agnes recalls horror of USA hit-and-run accident

AGNES MACKECHNIE, the Oban grandmother seriously injured in a road accident in the United States in October, has spoken movingly about what happened to her.

Agnes, who returned to her home earlier this month, said she had been overwhelmed by the kindness of people since her ordeal began.

The 55-year-old, who lives at Creag an Airm in Oban with her husband David, suffered multiple injuries in the hit-and-run accident at Hallowe’en in the city of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
