THE LOCAL History Society will welcome back Bill Cameron for his talk ’A Run around St Kilda – Past, Present and Future’. An interesting evening is promised with photographs and tales of St Kilda not found in the numerous books written about the island. Everyone welcome tonight, Thursday October 5 at 8pm, in the Ben Nevis Hotel.
ON SATURDAY October 7, Fort William Mountain Festival will host a minifest in association with West Highland College UHI. The film night will showcase some of the best mountain movies around. Tickets and information can be found at mountainfestival.co.uk. Films will be suitable for all ages.
