Parchment Craft  |  January 2010
It’s at this time of the year that people make their New Year resolutions, so if
yours is to make more cards, then there’s plenty of inspiration to be found, plus if you have Thank You cards to make, there are also designs that can be adapted to suit your requirements.
Flowering in early January and showing the first signs of new life are the
Galanthus or as they are more commonly know, the Snowdrop. Evidence of Mary G. Kerr’s White Work Snowdrops can be seen on the cover and on page 8 too, and like the flower itself, Mary’s card is very delicate in appearance and is suitable for a winter birthday. Continuing on with the floral theme, there are also cards by Christine Coleman and Kay James plus a workshop by Josie Davidson who this month shows over five steps how to emboss a rose.
