Europhoenix Type 3 No. 37608 Andromeda was hired in by DRS for RHTT leaf-busting duties with No. 37716 in late October, the pairing seen during a stop at Huddersfield in the early hours of October 25 after arriving from Hebden Bridge and before going forward to Skipton. By mid-November, No. 37608 had moved on to RHTT duties in East
Anglia.

Another from the Europhoenix fleet, No. 37611 Pegasus, was hired in by ROG on November 4, to haul four ex-Transport for Wales Mk.3 coaches (Nos. 10249, 12182, 12180, 12176) from the Eastern Rail Services compound at Great Yarmouth to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway – the working seen soon after setting off near Acle.
