There's a new kid on the British sculling scene...

On the 31st of May this year at the 2015 European Rowing Championships in Poznan, Angus Groom finished fourth in the men’s single sculls final in 06:49.02, just a couple of seconds behind Olaf Tufte of Norway (06:46.61), Ondrej Synek of the Czech Republic (06:46.40) and Damir Martin of Croatia who won in a time of 06:41.65. The video of the race shows him looking remarkably relaxed and apparently at home alongside the elite of the single sculling world.
