Google’s second Nest Hub smart display lands two years after the company pulled the previous Google Home Hub under its Nest branding, and it seems it’s learnt a few tricks in that time.
The 7in display still offers the Google Assistant, Chromecast and smart home integration of its predecessor, only now there’s better sound quality, improved voice detection and the addition of sleep-tracking capabilities, which it manages without a single camera. All of this for £30 less than the launch price of the original Home Hub represents quite the warning shot across Amazon’s bows.
