The Flower Arranger Spring 22:
I think you’re going to love this spring issue. It’s packed with seasonal inspiration and ‘how-tos’ for every level, many of them created by flower arrangers from the East of England at our photo shoot at Hopleys Garden Centre in Much Hadham. Thank you to all of them and to Aubrey Barker and Jan Adams for hosting us – hot cross buns and all.
But it’s not just flowers. Leaves take centre stage in our feature on Dutch Master Florist Ben Clevers. Plus, we’re taking a bet that, with the cost of flowers rising, paper blooms could be the next big thing. See how wonderful they can look in our pictures from Winchester Cathedral Flower Festival and learn how to make your own on page 23.

Talking of festivals, I’m looking forward to a year of Platinum Jubilee events including ‘Celebration: A Festival of Flowers’ at Salisbury Cathedral in May. We’re also offering you a fantastic opportunity on page 64 to send in a Platinum Jubilee design of your own with a chance to have it featured in the nation’s favourite floral art magazine.
In other exciting news, following the success of our Christmas cards, we've created a range of notecards for you to send wishes with a floral flourish or give as a
delightful gift to your family and friends (see page 68).
As ever, we love to see your creations and hear your floral news at @flowerarrmag on Facebook and Instagram. Or you can email me at editor@nafas.org.uk
